I can only speak for me. I'm using a gun. There are risks, but it also has the highest likelihood for success. I'll have to push myself past my SI to complete it. I'm doing research and dry fire runs in order to ensure that I will achieve success this time. I don't try to suggest to anyone how they should go. That depends on the person and what they have, or can get, access to. I live in the U.S. Guns are part of the fabric of the culture here. So, it's not hard to get one. Plus, I'm a veteran. All that's left for me now is the will to do it. I wish there was just a clinic in which you could simply walk in, apply, get checked in, wait, be shown to a room, lie down, and be put to sleep.
Humans don't mind seeing one starve. They don't mind excluding people. They don't mind showing total apathy to people. JUST DON'T DIE BY YOUR OWN HAND!!! That scares them, and they become these 'life warriors' who remind you that life is precious. This truly is a hellscape.
