Christmas is the one time of year I don't feel so scared to socialise. I can't explain why.
I've always loved christmas - maybe for the (temporary) joy it holds.

I don't know if I'll be here this christmas. Which kind of makes me sad but I don't know..

Yes, we live together with my mom. I used to love Christmas and New Year but since i became suicidal i only find socializing tiring (my cousins, uncle and aunt are the people who always accompany us for this days)

Christmas probably at my mothers house. New year alone and on the road like pretty much the 10 nye's before this one. When the clock strikes midnight at nye roads are dead empty ... Literally everyone has somewhere to be at that point. It's a rare sight.

Assuming I'm not dead by then, I'll be in Vegas with my family. Once I get back to town I'll attempt to catch the bus in 2019.

Probably I would serve as a lector at one of the Christmas Eve Masses in my parish church and spend Christmas Day at home with my mother and brother. I would probably spend New Year's Eve taking care of Mom.

People don't really celebrate Christmas in my country and I don't look forward to New Year's Eve either as the events are all pretty lame. It's going to be very depressing for me.

I wish I could enjoy Christmas. I loved it as a kid. Now it just feels empty and soulless. Maybe you need kids to appreciate it again. I don't even like kids though, I want it to feel good for me. I have a beautiful fiancee and we'll have a decent time of it, so I really shouldn't bitch. But I'm tired of the cyclical spiel every year, the same holidays, the same boring garbage in the stores. I go to Walmart and right now it's pumpkin spice bread, pumpkin spice tea, pumpkin spice condoms (probably, I haven't checked). I just notice that the older I get, the more dead I feel on the inside. I never make new memories either, it all just feels like tired, re-hashed bullshit that I can't muster any energy for.

I work retail so gonna have that to take up my time (and exhaust me). On Christmas day I'll be eating with my family and then retreating to my room when it gets too much. I may be working boxing day which would get me away from the house, but I won't know until my rota comes out. I just need to keep busy..

I was working in retail too and I hated working on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day :(

Every Christmas, since my love left me I buy 2 bottles of gin [the most expensive I can find locally [bombay sapphire last year]
and I empty one on Christmas eve [24.12] and the second one NY eve. Im sober for the rest of the year. I dont even drink beer on hot days
This year - I cant plan that far.
