I accidentally took a higher dosage pill than I was supposed to today and the whole experience was nerve wracking.

By letting my body quell it away. I'm finding that self-termination is something that tells you when you're ready. The SI won't be able to stop that energy. Alcohol doesn't hurt either.

Maybe those who succeeded in ctb were just so determined and this allowed them to overcome the survival instinct. I think that those who succeeded in methods like hanging and jumping were particularly courageous, but I think that if I had a method as peaceful as Nembutal I would have no problems in going through with ctb.
But it certainly is like the survival instinct exists to prolong suffering and keep people trapped here in this world, suicide really isn't straightforward.

I'm determined in other things. I wonder how to shift it to ctb. I just want so much and I know if things were just a little different that I could have what I want and the thought of making things different keeps me trapped in this world.

Yes, there is currently no reliable source for it, instead there is only scams going around. And also N is illegal, so I don't think that a doctor would prescribe it.

Very depending on the country. It was used obvs for euthanasia but also sleeping pills. Now most country's either don't sell/use Nembutal at all anymore or only in very small doses. If it was that easy to obtain there would be a lot less people on this site :)

All the other online sources are mostly scams so not even worth spending your time and energy on.

Methods that are instant or that you can't come back from like drowning, jumping or a quick fatal stab. SN seems so popular here and understandably however it takes more than 10 mins to knock you out which can make you SI freak out.

If you don't yet have the courage to do it then that may be an indication that it's not the right time. The reason why a lot of people struggle is because, despite whatever pain they are feeling, they aren't ready to give up on life. Even in the most depressing circumstances there can still be things you live for and enjoy experiencing, even if its not always appreciated. Death is the most final of destinations and there's no need to push yourself to do something that you don't truly want to do.

Benzos + reminding myself that my problems are permanent and unfixable. I plan to go in less than two weeks and I feel mostly calm now, I think my bus is finally coming. I doubt my calmness will last as it comes time to down my salt, but all I can do is hope my resolve holds strong.
