Has anyone ever successfully bought a gas tank and is willing to share the story of how it went?
I'm in the US and wanted to buy a nitrogen tank, but it seems like my best bet would be going to a welding store in person and driving it home.
However, I don't think I could come up with a story and lie confidently if they questioned why I was purchasing it.
Did they ask you any questions? If so, what did you answer?
Also, I'm pretty scared of driving it home myself and I heard some stores won't even sell it to you if they don't know if you have the proper equipment to carry it.
Did they ask you how you were transporting it? And what was your set-up to drive it back home?
Finally, has anyone been able to find a place that would sell to you online or at least over the phone and deliver?
