How was your day today?

I worked until 3:30pm because tomorrow is a holiday here and my bosses let us leave early.
I had lunch there at work with my co-workers.
And then I came home to spend some quality time with my cat and watch some series.
Already took my medication.
And I'm home alone because my housemates went to their house for Easter.

Thanks Are you new in the college? Are you taking any courses? I never had many friends either. I always preferred quality over quantity. I'm sure you'll find someone you identify with and it will go smoothly. I always liked to be at home too.

It was a black tea and then a rooibos chai in the afternoon. I did have a nice walk, thank you! I saw a cat, but he wouldn't let me get close... He looked a bit fat, so he was a probably someone's pet, or at least looked after.

Very depressed, stressed out and triggered, had been succesfully tapering off benzos but the last few days have been rough and I ended up taking more than I should so feeling shit about that, just another day of the same old same old.

Because of the economy and because unfortunately houses are all too expensive :/ It is the reality of our generation. But having housemates has advantages and disadvantages. If you get along, which is my case, it's nice to come home and have someone to talk to. I feel more alone when they are not around, which is the case now.

I joined the site today. Feels good to find people I can relate to but kind of sad that we all find the need to be here.

My employment situation is a bit complicated. I have a job, not a good one, but they won't let me work properly and I was being psychologically abused in there. I'm currently in a medical leave and looking for another one.

Omg I went through the same thing. Last month I had to go on medical leave for the same reasons. But I was very depressed and the pills weren't working yet so I only managed to go to one interview and spoke to a few. And unfortunately the one I went to I didn't stay and had to go back to my old job this month because my money was running out. Now I am a little better and going to several interviews and honestly the job has helped me because it has kept me busy and they have not bothered me lately.

Don't let depression overcome you and go to all the interviews you can. I really hope you can get a new job that you like and that they treat you well, it's very important.
