I lied to my doctor that I have anxiety that causes me panic attacks and he prescribed me Xanax. Xanax does wonders for my fear. I did a test-drive of this medications and it did wonders for my SI.I don't know how painful it is but it may result in a longer duration of losing conciousness. Benzo is not a must, several people succeed without it you can watch at watchpeopledie tv. Antiemetics are a must and painkiller may help with discomfort. If you want to acquire benzo, you can try telling your doctor that you have severe depression and panic attacks they may prescribe you one.
Can you ask your doctor or a psychiatrist ? Benzos are usually quite easy to get.
But SN without benzos is not recommended at all (awful death according to what I've read). Even with benzos it's not really peaceful according to the PPH 2025 (peacefulness 6/10 with the right protocol). You'll need anti emetics too, and maybe propranolol for the heart racing which is really an unpleasant felling.
Just watched, looks pretty unpleasant but I don't think I have any other options really.Joe Winko filmed himself taking SN. Google his name and you should find it. It my opinion it's not as peaceful as some people have said.
Yup. It's a sure fire way to ctb, so I guess the idea that it's peaceful is just a cope to help people go through with it.It's frustrating that SN is promoted so often despite not being very peaceful.
Certainty matters more than comfort. The reason it is recommended here so much is because it is in line with the main point of this forum, that being choice. It's frustrating that SN is promoted so often despite not being very peaceful.
Agreed. I do have a limit of how much pain I'm willing to endure, but I also know I don't have access to anything that would make it perfectly peaceful and pain-free and so I've gotta accept that part of the package. And besides, we're all eventually gonna die of something anyway, and there will probably be some level of pain in that regardless.Certainty matters more than comfort. It's not promoted because it's peaceful but rather ease of access and lethality. Hanging requires knowledge and privacy, so does CO and Exit bag not everyone has access to them. Jumping and Gun are really scary and Drowning might be too painful. So it's not a surprise that SN is a popular method. It's frustrating that SN is promoted so often despite not being very peaceful.
AI told me that you experience air hunger, which I really don't want to go through. I know how awful it feels from when I tried suffocating with a bag without any sort of drug to impair my subjective experience. Genuinely one of the top two worst incidents of physical pain I've gone through. But I don't know how to go about finding out if that's true or not.Two things... Not peaceful compared to what? Nembutal? you can't get that anymore. Compared to most suicide options, SN isn't brutal.
The other thing... it depends a lot on how fast you pass out. There were definitely forum users here who passed out really quickly and in their last messages they didn't seem to be in much pain at all. I'm talking users in the last six months & more recent.
That said I don't want to encourage anyone to take SN... That's not the point.
Is it peaceful if you get everything? Can you ask your doctor or a psychiatrist ? Benzos are usually quite easy to get.

Ai is wrong. I talked to many SN survivors on the sasu forum and nobody said that felt huge air hunger.AI told me that you experience air hunger, which I really don't want to go through. The problem with SN is that some people will say it's peaceful and other will say it's awful. To me, benzos and other meds are 100% necessarely. Keep in mind that even natural death can be painful. What I read about side effects is : vomiting, shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, dizziness, eyes rolling, confusion, and so many things...Is it peaceful if you get everything?
That sounds like it passes the threshold for brutal. Might be less brutal than other contemporary methods, but it seems like a prolonged and uncomfortable way to spend one's last moments. I just feel like it should be clearly stated when people suggest it.Yes that is definitely a possibility there was a forum user a few months back (maybe longer) who took SN whose last messages were something along the lines of "I can't breathe". It was pretty harrowing to read.
What do you mean by pretend to be?But other methods are not better. Only barbiturates can pretend to be peaceful (and maybe Fentanyl).

It also depends of the fasting before SN, your weight, your health condition in general. It seems like a lottery. But other methods are not better. Only barbiturates can pretend to be peaceful (and maybe Fentanyl).
What's the status of Nembutal today? Two things... Not peaceful compared to what? Nembutal? you can't get that anymore. Compared to most suicide options, SN isn't brutal.

very close to become a fairytailWhat's the status of Nembutal today?
I'd say it's the least bad option. But the protocol must be strictly followed.so sn is the best
What's the community's take on Swiss VAD where they inject N?I'd say it's the least bad option. But the protocol must be strictly followed.
