how to test that SN is actually SN?

So there's tests on here to test the purity of the SN.

But how to test that it is actually SN?

I mean, China is a country which put melamine (an industrial chemical) in baby formula. Actually, perhaps that explains why they're willing to sell SN to people.

There are 3 ways.
1 Test strip. most popular, lots of guide listed on here, you can look up SN bible or any other guide
2 Reagent solution. Idea is simple you drop a solution into a vial of water+SN match the color with the provided chart. If color doesn't change it's not SN, if color turns deep red or brown it's SN.
3. Blood test. Similar to the 2nd method if your blood turns brown it means that it is SN. Although for exact purity usually it's done by test strip

You're fundamentally misunderstanding what it means to test something for purity.
When we test SN for purity, what we are testing is it's SN content.
If you bought fake SN and you tested it, the test would reveal that it contains no SN.
