Help How to tell my friends I'm going to kill myself without them freaking out

I'm going to take my life at some point this year, I was wondering the best way to tell people without freaking them out. I don't want it to completely destroy them. Any ideas?

Yeah, they will try talk me out of it but they know when i decide smth I will do it, so they will respect it

not sure if there's any way they wouldn't be confused or worried or upset. it's hard losing someone that you care about. sorry i don't really have any advice, since i plan to go quietly and without notice.

if your friends are genuinely good friends, there likely isnt really any way to tell them this kind of thing without them becoming incredibly worried

Suicide is just one of those things that people are going to have to find out about after the fact. I understand wanting to explain things yourself to the people you care about, but it's almost always a bad idea.

I wouldn't assume that multiple people in real life that know you enough to talk you out of it would do nothing. no matter how you break the news. be careful

if you know your friends are gonna try to get you help, dont please, it causes unessacary worry for everyone and panic, especially if they dont understand, leave a note before you pass, its less harsh, trust me, theyll feel guilty if you tell and then ctb
