i just read that gmail sometimes detects suicide notes and deletes them or something along those lines so i was looking for alternatives

Oh ok didn't know gmail did that bit screwed up
Not sure about any other alternatives unless you do it via an app that allows you to do that

doesn't sound like a super great idea since it might get them shouted at, but it has more certainty than trying to schedule it and not knowing if they'll go through. it's good that you brought up gmail, because my suicide letter was going to a pretty important person. handwritten letters get held onto by cops, which is why i'm only sending messages off my phone

Where did you read this? I've never heard of this before. Unless you're sending it from a work or school email, you're not likely to be monitored that way. Unless you've given someone reason to surveil you? You could probably just write and it and save it as a PDF, or an image or something if you're concerned about it being automatically detected.

I'll be using the Gmail or outlook feature, but to circumvent the AI triggers that stop the message from sending, I'm just sending a link to a protectedtext.com document, with the password in the message/email.

i have no idea tbh i am so sorry... im not trying to spread misinformation at all, it's just something i remember reading somewhere? i absolutely could be wrong, please dont alter ur ctb plans because of this :< but yeah be precautious...

lol. i did try googling this immediately after you mentioned it and couldn't find anything on the front page. i can imagine it being a real thing because of ai though, so it seems like a good precaution.

do you have an iphone? if so im sure you can use shortcuts to set up an automation to send out either texts or emails at a specific time, i could experiment with making one. shortcuts are built into ios, its kinda like coding but visually, best way to describe it. it's simple tho

Proton mail seems to have much better privacy than gmail (thoughit has been in some contriversies too).
The free version has some scheduled email options, but if you want something custom like sending several days later then you have to pay for premium.
Also, I did some testing and I noticed that sometimes when I try sending scheduled emails it doesn't go through unless I set it to send in plain text.
If you have an android phone you can also send a scheduled sms, however be aware that this will only work if your phone is on, so you can't schedule for days later.
