I live in the Western united states. I'm poor and I don't have a passport. Does anyone know hoe you could obtain Yew in the USA, or is it simply not possible?

There's pacific yew in the pacific northwest. It's range is coastal Northern California up through British Columbia hemmed in between the Rockies and the coast along with a strip of land in Idaho.
It's less lethal as far as I know . Some companies sell extracts as a health supplement. It doesn't have the same historic lore around it's toxicity as the European variety. You might find some ornamentally planted in old church graveyards.
Plant methods are discouraged on SaSu for the most part. Being that the indigenous yew in the west is less toxic, it would be almost impossible for anyone to give you proper a dose guideline even if you did find it.Similar threads
