I'm currently considering the plastic bag method, and I was going to ctb on Tuesday. But when I did it, all I did was panic at losing oxygen and not being able to breathe, and I just tore the bag off. I'd like to preface that I'm not looking for anything related to drugs or alcohol, but I'd like to know if there are any methods to help myself not panic while I am suffocating

The panic is from CO2 buildup. Lack of oxygen doesn't make you panic. You need to go unconscious if you don't want to panic. Possibly one could use a tourniquet around the neck to induce unconsciousness. In this method one might not even need the bag, but it would speed it up.

There isn't a way not to panic with the method you're talking about. It's an inbuilt physiological defense system. I doubt anyone could ever see this method through without being restrained or incapacitated in some way and it certainly would be horrible if conscious for the suffocation.

I have gorilla tape. I guess I could put a lot of it on me to make it work, sort of like a tourniquet. I heard with the night night method, you can use gorilla tape instead of a tree ratchet. Would that work?

I can't tell you if that will work. I just know that it has to be very tight. My only experience with going unconscious is with carbon monoxide.

From what I have read, without gas like helium or nitrogen to render you unconscious, the buildup of CO2 in the bag will cause you to panic and remove the bag. As mentioned in other responses, it's a natural reflex. And, as also mentioned, suffocation while conscious is a terrible way to go because death would take several minutes and you will suffer the whole time.

i am going to seriously try this method, but combine tourniquet method with drowning.

I'm going the CO method due to its peacefulness. It can knock you unconscious in minutes. I've decided I'm going to pair it with 100+ ground bitter apricot seeds. The plan is the CO knocks me out and the cyanide finishes me off. I'm using more charcoal than last time so the CO very well could do the job alone, but I'm still taking the ground seeds.
