How to mentally prepare yourself for death?

In October I plan on offing myself (nitrogen exit bag method). I am buying snacks and am going to eat out breakfast, lunch and dinner, and I'm also buying wine. I want it to be a special day. I'm wondering how can I mentally prepare myself to be dead, to cease to exist, to never come back to this world?

You need to come to terms with this fact. Try to gather your will into a fist and be as cool-headed as possible. I know from my own experience that planning is one thing, but acting is a completely different thing. This is a very difficult test for each of us physically and mentally.
