I have chosen full suspension hanging as my method. I have a very detailed plan, you can check my profile if you are curious. I will be using a 10mm polyester rope with a noose knot.

The only thing that I am not sure about is how to achieve the ideal hanging to suffer as little as possible. It is not really clear from everything I have read on here.

You can either die from choking due to pressure on the wind pipe, which would be painful and take several minutes, or from loss of oxygen to the brain by pressuring the carotid arteries, which should be fast and painless.

How can I ensure that I will die from pressuring the arteries instead of slowly choking to death? Is there really any way to be sure? Because with full hanging, the rope will just end up right under your jaw no matter where you place it, it does its own thing, so you can't really pressure a specific sweet spot like with partial hanging.

If you have any knowledge please reply.

I wonder the same thing. I think FS is actually a good method because 100%, but am also afraid of suffocating in agony. I think the important thing would be to go through with it without hesitation and without fighting it, just let yourself fall into the noose, maybe at a moment when you are very desperate and don't care about anything.

this is just my 10cents, but i think it's better to just jump into the noose if ygwim. like 1900's execution style, oh mayb a pillow, rice/wheat bag can help? for this concern u have, if ur not jumping into the noose

I think through testing you can discover your sweet spot, but you've got to be careful during the tests. And if you lean your body forward and tilt your head downwards, you can prevent the rope from sliding right under your jaw at the start of the hanging until you go unconscious and then it will slide up on its own (at least that's what I read in guides). I guess you can't know for sure how painful it will be until you make the attempt, and it not only depends on your set- up and technique, but also on luck because you'll be struggling and SI will kick in , and who knows how you'll move when it happens.

it might be helpful to try to have something you can step back onto if you are just hanging there and things are not working out, as it does seem to me that there is some random luck involved with full hanging regarding whether it will be a long or short process
