  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I have this set idea of bidding farewell to my family and friends to 'find myself', knowing they are familiar with my history and what that may mean, and driving north - maybe to Alaska. Driving far into the woods until I'm forced to abandon my car. I hike for hours until the brush is so thick I can't see the sky for the trees. I've brought supplies - a loaded shotgun. I find a craggy boulder littered ravine; it is fresh and lush with the snowmelt of early May. I find a crevice within a crevice within a crevasse between shale and shifting silt. Flora all about me, partially burying myself in the leaves and mulch and soil. Then the second I pull the trigger, the microbes, the creatures great and small will go to their work. Their dutifully recycling carbon. So that even if there is a search and they manage to find my car and track me far and spot the right nook and the right cranny - there will be nothing left. The forest has scattered all remains and one would never even know they had found what they were looking for.

What do you think? Does it sound feasible? Something you might consider? It's not for everybody, obviously. But I don't want to be found - especially if I'm going to use a very certain - heavy - method.

Close, but not quite—but I do like your description. The gun would be left, as would your clothes and bones. Actually, on rethink, sure it could work. If you have a 4x4 that can get off the road, and don't use credit cards to leave a trail—if they don't know where to start looking it could last forever before anything is found. A vehicle could even be covered to hide it. Don't use phone either and you're golden…

Not for me, no.

Mostly I just wanted to tell you this is quite poetic and almost hypnotic. Beautiful.

Wrong way to go about it .

You're going to be found so easily in almost any first world nation due to the scale of surveillance there.

The best way would be to fly into a poor country and make an illegal land crossing to another country and CTB there. No one will ever find you if you die in the right spot

attach your leg to a big rock and drown. I thought about doing this but no water near me.
