basically all i have to ctb are knives, i know some bridges, and i could trying hanging but i was told thats a low probability for it working so i need recommendations with these ways
Are you thinking of ctb by cutting yourself? Personally, I don't reccomend that. There is a chance that you'll stop bleeding before you die. Also, it would be very long and drawn out, which wouldn't be a pleasant way to go. I mean, I don't think any method comes without its discomfort but cutting just seems like it has an excessive amount of suffering as its carried out. There are more efficient methods, that's for sure.
As for hanging, it doesn't necessarily have to be painful if done correctly. I would pm you with more info but your account is still too new, so I won't be able to tell you until you're eligible to do that. In the meantime, there is a hanging guide if you want to look into this method more: https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/how-to-hang-yourself.1183/
I've seen it mentioned several times that cutting only has a 2% success rate. That combined with the consequential scars you'd have if you failed makes it a pretty bad option in my opinion. Self harm scars are one thing but I imagine it would be pretty uncomfortable to have large scars from this.
I don't think that knives are really recommended if one wishes to successfully ctb, I think that trying to attempt this method would just lead to more suffering. There is a suicide resource compilation section and search function on here for people to do their own research, pretty much every method has already been discussed.
Nice Mizuki profile picture. Anyways, I wouldn't recommend cutting since it has a very low success rate and a high chance of failing which might lead you to a mental institution which is undesirable. Hanging has a better success rate than cutting. You can do your own research on different methods with the search bar or the suicide resource compilation section. I wish you the best.
Maybe a quick slash with a surgical scalpel or a sashimi grade knife to the carotid artery. It will hurt likely so u better make sure u can get ur hands on a good local anaesthetic
