How strong does the shot of alcohol need to be after drinking N? Or is a bite of chocolate better?

An excellent question. I *think* there has been a few things mentioned about this recently but nothing definitive was concluded. I would go with what your favourite is. If you fancy a piece of Toblerone - have that. Otherwise a shot of chocolate liqueur might be nice?

I basically never drink alcohol or eat sweets, so I don't have anything I would favor. Someone suggested Baileys Chocolate Cherry, which I got and it tastes fine, but the alcohol % is only 17, pretty weak compared to something like vodka. I'm wondering if it's necessary to get something like vodka which would be stronger to kill the taste more.

I prefer Alcohol as it strengthens the effect, chocolate only takes the taste away supposedly :-)
Everyone has their own opinions .

I think a gulp of any spirit will do tbh, like with chocolate there isn't a hard and fast rule, and it's up to personal choice. Personally I'd opt for a cheeky can of Sterlinger Eingerbrau lager, 12% ABV and only 89p per can in Londis, great value imo.

Will you have time to drain the entire can? I'm concerned you may drift off part way through thus spilling the remaining 2/3 of the beverage on your, no doubt, freshly ironed Crowded House T-shirt

That's why a strong shot of Alcohol is advised you won't be awake long .

Do we know how long, exactly? In minutes and seconds? I'm thinking of the chocolate and how much of it to eat beforehand in case time is short after

Differs with different people, not very long for some within a few minutes.

I don't wear band t-shirts, l was actually intending to wear my favourite Global Hypercolour t-shirt as these change colour as you sweat and would therefore ensure that there are no embarrassing patches under my armpits after the event. My main concern is that l don't pass out during the celebratory roll-up l have already made, my mother bought me that t-shirt for Christmas in 1994 and she'll be mightily pissed off l get a cig burn in it.

I will also be wearing a mood ring, the colour of which should reflect how l felt at the moment of passing and this information would be of vital importance to those members of this site who value scientific research into this method.

Well hopefully you will be posting a goodbye thread so people can bombard you with questions as to your mood and amount of chocolate munched

No doubt the great Dr Phil will be hiding behind a door to snatch the mood ring and have it carefully examined.
