The same here , a couple of years older . Then the cruelty of life tricks you into thinking things are getting better and for brief moments in your life you think things are going to be good , only to be slammed back down to earth either by outside forced or of your own making .

So many younger people here. I'm 46, is suicide rising among younger people or have most suicidal people not lasted over 35 ish?

This website says that US suicide rates generally increase into as people get older, then after their mid-50s it starts to decrase for women and plateau for men:

I would assume that the reason most people here are in their 20s/30s is because I'd think people those ages are more inclined to use the internet to interact with others about "taboo" things like suicide.
