How much of the PPeH have you read (if any)?

Just curious. I'm slowly reading through it myself, and I'm wondering how many others here have done the same.

So far I've read the parts that did interest me the most (sn, fentanyl). I have planed to read more when i feel like doing it or when I'm bored with no internet.

It's slow going because it's so long and takes a decent amount of energy to actually read, but I've been enjoying it. It's interesting and seems like a good source altogether. I get a uniquely interesting combination of emotions whenever I research methods. But I do get annoyed at its continual insistence that suicide is "clearly" not appropriate for young physically healthy but mentally ill individuals like myself.

That's my problem with it too. It excludes us and invalidates our feelings of needing to die with dignity. I partially think the author's opinion was swayed because he knew that people would already have a problem with his book and is pressured in a way to say, "However!". That's why their website for the dying upsets me, it excludes me and isn't inviting in any way. I'm glad I found this site to converse with like minded people.

Yeah, comforting is a good word. Anything that reminds me that I have an "out" available to me gives me a lot of peace and even happiness I can't find in life.
