How much money do you spend on a smartphone usually?

I am so annoyed by my smartphone. It is 4 ,5 years old and costed 300 bucks. I am pretty stingy and try to save money because I am pretty scared about poverty. I had enough money but I am hesitating. There are several reasons.

My currenty phone is extremely stable. I often let it accidentally fall down and it survived so much incidents. I could imagine other phones would be broken if similar things happened.

I save my money for a playstation 5. Lol. I want to buy one before they increase the prices which could happen due to inflation.

Now some reasons why I want a new one, My phone has only 32 GB storage room. It is annoying as fuck.

I play some mobile games. Always only Free2play. I never spend money. But my phone is really slow when I play them.


But maybe a new one would not be much better. I will probably wait. I don't want to spend maximum 300 euros.
Some weeks ago an old woman asked me a question. How can I write text messages on my new IPhone? LMAO
Some people spend almost 1000 euros for a phone and then they don't use much more than simply a messager. I should have asked whether we can trade phones. Though I am no big fan of Apple.

How much do you usually spend on new phone? Do you buy them second hand? I never do that with electric devices. Made some bad experiences n the past.

I don't play games on the phone so I go for the cheapest option- my iphone7 cost $200 a couple years ago, but I'll need to upgrade to an iphone 11 by year end since the 7 won't be supported after year end. I really hope to have no need to do this- I hope to be gone long before then, but SI mkaes the date uncertain.
