4 times,once when i was around 7 and the last time march last year where i spent the most amount of time in intensive care, was so pissed off so close and yet meh, cant try it again until its a dead cert as i will end up being sectioned

Twice ,ended up panicking at night time n morning came n cried on phone to mammy saying sorry dunno why anymore , ambulance took me ,but it was too late to pump i think cause was on IV n they put liquids to go in my veins , discharged after few days ,was asked by some psychiatrist or doctor if i wanted to go on psych ward but wasn't sure so didn't in the end.. 2nd time was also just pain in body but didn't need go hospital ,i said in beging that my PD was sore so took pills for it which was a lie.. was in pain during birthday ,but it oks

I almost died from such an "attempt" but I was also opioid naive at the time. An illegal drug was also involved along with the alcohol and opioids. Doc asked me why I did it and I said because I wanted to die. His reply was "Well, you almost did." Unfortunately my bf discovered me unconscious and barely breathing. I had to drink charcoal drinks in the ICU for days. That was fun!
Nowadays it would take a pharmacy of drugs to kill me because I'm too tolerant to opioids and other prescription pills now.

One serious attempt 22 years ago from which I was "saved" and two more recent "almost went through with it but was thwarted" incidents (all 3 were CO, btw).

4 times. 3 attempted ODs but was too stupid to learn from the first time that OTC meds don't do anything. Last time I tried to drown myself but a hiker saw me and called 911.

i'm not sure what counts as an attempt tbh since my past ones were all kind of stupid and i knew i wouldn't die for most of them. i tried twice when i was about 10 or 11, once by asphyxiation with a regular plastic bag and once by poisoning, and i've tried partial suspension maybe 5/6 times since last year but it never worked because my SI kicked in each time. My only serious attempt failed because I was underage at the time and couldn't buy the stuff I needed to do it.
I've attempted twice.
Once with the ratchet strap for night night and once with SN. Neither worked.

Think around 7. First was suicide by cop which I know ppl are not gonna like. Rest hanging once in jail but guard walking in early.
Charcoal in the car.
Third: I lit the charcoal in the car and got in immediately. Then waited about an hour to no effect.
I didn't tell anyone about this one so no hospital
Second: Same idea as above except the grill got so hot the seat when up in flames. I was going to let the car go up but i parked right by a corn field. I smothered the flames with a blanket. I had lots of burnt plastic on my hands after that one.
2 weeks in hospital afterwards
First attempt: same idea as others i just gave up under 5 min, drove to my parents and told them what i did. I spent 2 months in the hospital after this one.
I had an amazing trip last summer that is stopping me from saying "I wish my first attempt(March2019) was successful. Though I look at life and how its changed and if I do commit suicide: I'd prefer if it was the first attempt for timing. Life is so much worse in so many ways.
I think we are all being misled. I think there must be some ingredient missing in this method.

Been sectioned (Section 2) 22 times in 2 years, 4 months.
They were all from suicide attempts.
I've also attempted and managed to blag my way out of a section, so there have been more.
