I was diagnosed with PDD-NOS and that diagnosis no longer exists it is under autism now. I got diagnosed with autism when I went to a psychologist originally for depression. My symptoms include sensory issues such as picky eating and I struggle with verbal and non verbal communication even when I socialized frequently. Before I turned 11, I never dwelled on it because a lot of teachers appreciate a quiet kid who listens to everything. I don't like my symptoms though because neurotypicals can know who is vulnerable or not.
