How long does bleeding out take?

How long does it take to bleed out from the wrists on average and what does it feel like as you bleed out? Would you recomend it as a method?

Probably you won't unless you cut really deep into the arteries, most likely you will lose some blood and there will come a crust on your cut which stops the bloodflow

It is not recommended as a method it has a highly unsucessful rate. You'd probably pass out in around 8 to 12 minutes unless highly butchered and very painful.

To be honest, blood flow from such minor arteries is probably too slow for you to even die from it at all. Your body will naturally heal your wounds before you die. There's a reason it is listed on the Non-methods threads, as someone already pointed out.

Bleeding out is not a reliable method, certainly not from the wrists.

Yeah, if anything wrists are probably a poor area to cut. Other areas probably have more arteries.

If you're deadset on doing it this way, try one of the major arteries. Like the jugular on the nexk or the artery on your thigh. Don't take my advice though. Research, research, research.

I had an ex boyfriend with a slash a ruler long and an inch thick in his upper thigh. He was serious when he went for it but it didn't work. I don't think I know of a single actual success story
