title

I have a feeling that when the time comes that I may fail due to my imagined setup being a bit too simple

and would just like to know what the risks or side effects are if it doesn't work out also if it does fail are the bruises inevitable and if so how do you cover them up ?

"how likely is memory loss after a failed hanging attempt"
Not only memory loss, but also permanent brain damage due to hypoxia.

I have never heard of hypoxia before this so I decided to search it and that sounds manageable well at least for me because I already experience some of these things due to my other ailments

which makes me wonder that after the attempt if I were to visit a doctor for a regular annual checkup if they will know something's off šŸ¤”

Not only bruises, but there is also a risk of cutting the skin. You may have permanent scars. Of course the doctor and other people will see what you have done, if you have scars.
that sounds manageable
How are you going to do that ? If you cut off the blood supply to the brain, brain damage will result from hypoxia.

As you ask this question, I suggest to use a setup that most likely works because CTB is usually a onetime decision and failing does not only cause mental pain it can also result in severe and permanent injuries / brain damage. There shouldn't be any doubts with a chosen setup before attempting. This is just my opinion.

some of the symptoms I read I already deal with from being anemic although I am trying my best not to have an infusion again unless some of the shared symptoms are more severe than the ones you experience while low on iron, hemoglobin, and low feretin levels

I will make sure to look into hypoxia more and check the thread associated with this method

If memory loss was the only problem - what better way than to forget all the sht that happened to you and start from scratch?)) I'm afraid of more serious consequences like thrombosis or stroke that will make me a paralyzed vegetable. Fear of failure is the only thing holding me there. Hope SN works, because I don't want to use partial hanging.
