Help how likely am i gonna die from nn method

i have my plan ready and everything, but the one thing i'm so worried about is not dying and only surviving with severe brain damage. how likely am i gonna survive with severe brain damage than die from compressing my carotid arteries for a few hours? and how can i avoid this?

If you pass out and the tourniquet/rachetstrap or whatever youre using doesnt loosen, you will die if youre not saved. You should know though that the nn method doesnt seem to work for 90% of people. It can be difficult to find and properly compress the arteries.
