Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Last time I almost died I was forced out of it cus I got this unnerving thought that I had something left to do here, someone to meet, it was weird and I wasn't a fan of it back then, waking up after the attempt I felt empty and confused cus I thought I'd already met everyone I had to meet since I was happily w my ex, but life finds a way to throw curveballs at you I suppose
As for the feeling of being dead, it was like I fell asleep and floated in the world without understanding what was going on fully

I've gotten close. And in all honesty it felt purely peaceful and I didn't feel any fear or negative emotions.

i've shared my story on here before. My death experience wasn't related to suicide. I got sepsis freshman year of highschool. i was found unresponsive by my parents on my basement floor. i remember just laying down on the floor and feeling no fear, no pain, no regret, just relief and comfort that my pain would be over. I had no SI to call out for help, try and reach for my phone, etc. I had been in physical agony for days at that point and once i felt the urge to lay down i knew it was kinda over lol.
Parents found me, took me to the hospital and everybody there started freaking out. i had iv's in both arms giving me huge bags of fluids. staff later told my parents my body was in the process of shutting down, i had about 30 minutes left from when they found me to be saved.
It was crazy. you think about dying and you think of pain, fear and suffering. i felt nothing but relief. think of that state youre in right before you fall asleep. thats the feeling.

Feels like nothing. If it happens suddenly. Like going under anesthesia.

I wasn't consciously near the point of death at which I blacked out during a sincere but ill-informed PSH attempt, but aside from a mild visual anomaly featuring a shadowy mist darting past my vision, the process felt fairly peaceful. Waking up quickly upon failure due to the haphazard rigging of my makeshift "noose" was entirely unpleasant, however.
