hi, I have sleeping issues and i often find it very hard to fall asleep. My CTB method involves me falling asleep and staying asleep, the thing is if i am doing something intense (i.e killing myself) I wont be able to sleep. Does anyone know of non prescription ways to just knock myself out? are there any off the shelf sleeping tablets i can chuck back? Thank you!

diphenhydramine tops all when it comes to OTC, all the other meds give you such a shitty feeling but dph

Melatonin or some OTC sleep aids.
Is there an underlying reason that keeps you from sleeping?

I have gone through that during my cancer treatments. A lot to think about.
Better now but still have a little trouble. Still have too many things to think about.
Melatonin (10 mg) works well for me.

melatonin can work, if its strong enough to knock u out or something else. i struggle with sleeping often esp if i dont take melatonin, i can stay up all night and be knocked out by like 7am or 8am and wake up horribly late. lol, i tried staying up a full 24hrs but that failed miserably.

Stay awake for a long time?
most of the time, this doesnt do much. u can be knocked out during the day because eventually ur brain and body shuts down to sleep and u can wake up at a much later time. the cycle can still stay even if u stay awake for a long time

It used to be alcohol until I started having vivid nightmares and cold sweats at night now cannabis before bed (it's legal here) I fall asleep faster and don't remember dreams

Don't use your cellphone or any other device that has a screen 1-2 hours before sleeping.
You can take melatonin or ZMA supplements.
ZMA has worked great for me.
