i think humans in general are just pathetic. i feel like i hate everyone and i don't care at all that i'm alone or that i barely know people these days. I feel like i don't care about anyone, nor do i want to. I just want to be left alone.

I can't connect with people, I lack something to form meaningful relationships.
People can be evil or good but in the end nobody give a shit about me.
I dislike being human, I dislike how societies work, how humans are slaves of their own egos including me

I don't connect with folks either, certainly not over the long term. At their greatest, ppl are wonderful, at their worst they're entitled, sniveling whiners—or worse. Mostly they're incredibly disappointing. Including me.

I think humans as a concept are beautiful. Actually dealing with them is another story though.
There is nothing I love more than people. There is nothing I hate more than people. I feel nothing towards people at all.

How do I feel about people in general? Yeah.
I can't make sense of my feelings. Interacting with others is frustrating.

always had a hard time bonding with people. My therapist tells me it's bc I never bonded with my mother and thus never experienced what it is like feeling loved. Having never experience that it is hard to experience it with people. I am usually suspicious of "people".

I've struggled in relationships much of my life, I don't think I was especially loving of other people, and very selfish. After becoming born again I have tried to become more compassionate for other people. I now understand more why we are the way we are.

As with everything, there are diamonds in the rough.

However, as a collective, humanity is extremely disappointing, fueled by greed, egotism and ignorance.

There are some true visionaries out there but they are lost in the dominating sea of monotony. As a species we are capable of so much, but this is lost to the aforementioned selfish attitudes.

To quote from Carl Sagan's 'Contact':

"You're an interesting species. An interesting mix. You're capable of such beautiful dreams, and such horrible nightmares. You feel so lost, so cut off, so alone, only you're not. See, in all our searching, the only thing we've found that makes the emptiness bearable, is each other."

People for the most part are terribly short-sighted and are lost to the 'grind' - procreate, work until retirement, eat, sleep, repeat. It's terribly depressing and definitely adds to my wish to CTB. Of course this doesn't apply to everyone, and I often gravitate towards people who see the 'bigger picture' and through the shallowness and bullshit.

As someone who always asks questions - who always wants to understand and be understood - it's terribly frustrating to know there is so much out there to discover and that such a huge chunk of society don't really care, or wish to care (most often the ones in positions of power and control).

If only we could all come together, as a species, for a truly greater good.

I miss having people in my life.

Me too. I miss what it feels like to have a friend. I'm grateful everyday for my partner but I miss friendships.

I feel I don't relate to "normies". I know some people don't like that label but there are people with such ordinary lives and I'm so far removed from that. Their thoughts and my thoughts never coincide. I avoid them at all costs. I have a general love for people though, and when I connect with a fellow outsider it feels awesome.

I 100% understand where you are coming from. Since my "parents" kicked me out in 1974, yikes! a little while ago, I have had the same feelings.

Yes, through the decades I had businesspeople, BUT in business a lot of the times they would stab one in the back in an instant, if possible, always was told "it is just business", so I never have had anyone that I could trust, UNTIL!! Sanctioned Suicide let me join.

I can truly say, every soul on here is so caring, loving and we all look out of each other, it is like WOW! for me the first time in my life ever.

Now with all of that said you are a great friend, and you have so many awesome hearted folks here that like me, I hope you feel that you have folks in your life.

People are baffling to me because you're essentially staring at a lifetime of experiences, thoughts, philosophies, and dreams that you'll never be able to truly understand because there's simply no way to connect with them. Achilles and the tortoise will never meet.

I value and admire them, mostly. There's a few that are really bad at being people, but most of them are alright. There are liars and traitors and killers and crooks, but most people seem to just want some friends, something to live for, and love.

I will be the odd one out. I love people. At the same time, they're terrible, and I can see it. As with everything, the bad outweighs the good, and as a collective, you'll find more terrible people, but no one is perfect; that's because of human nature. I agree what others have said previously; we have progressed artificially quickly, and evolution has had no time to catch up. Human nature is cruel, and so is mother nature.

I can't help but love friendly, energetic people. Kind, maternal ones. Helpful and innovative ones. The idea of people, in other words. I've come across plenty good and plenty bad, but I want to care about each. It's a flaw of mine. I lament that I am not personable in public.

However, I do hate the ones that harm others.

I think how you feel about yourself reflects on how you feel about others. Perhaps other people are the reason for how you feel and therefore it causes anxiety. Emotional strain becomes associated with the risk of interacting with others, causing you to withdraw. Withdrawal causes loneliness. Loneliness causes resentment etc..

For me, personally, people make me uncomfortable. I don't relate and connect with others well. I always feel like the guy who doesn't belong anywhere and since being alive is belonging to something all the time, there is a huge problem. There is temporary relief when I am asleep or when I first wake up… then thoughts of the day hit me like a freight train and spin my mind into a haze. I dread work. Being in the office and pretending with others. Being fake. There is a demand to be sociable in society and if you're not then it's impeded as a huge issue.

I've tried at perhaps looking for other work. Something that may be a bit easier. Then I look on job markets and immediately I just want to blow my brains out. There is no peace on Earth, on the contrary, there is nothing but noise. People are far too demanding, selfish, obnoxious and blissfully ignorant for others

I really hate the condition humans are in. However, I don't personally hate humans. To me being human is like being biological self-aware machine. We are aware of death and general pointlessnes of life, yet we are still enslaved by our animal instincts and our emotions.

I recognize, that other humans are fellow people suffering in this hell we call our planet earth. So, I symphatize with their struggles as long as they have ability to recognize how life truly is.

I strongly dislike people that let their basic instincts take control of them, remain willfully ignorant and cause unnecessary suffering to other humans with their behaviour.
