How do I ignore the emotional nonsense forced on me by my SI?

The logical thing for me to do would be to die but the emotional storm makes it unnecessarily difficult.

With me the emotion is mostly the method. If I had pentobarbital or knew I could produce enough CO in an enclosed space to kill me quickly,I would be calm about dying. However jumping or some painful poison would bring on fearful emotions.
