  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

There was something discussed here previously, possibly in the SN Megathread but not sure, about telling a doctor that at some point in the past, you have had severe nausea and vomiting and your were prescribed (by a different doctor) some type (take your pick) of anti-emetic, and that is the only relief that you have gotten when those conditions flared up. And you have tried all the OTC stuff and none of it has worked. If you can find the thread, it had other information on how to present yourself for that sort of thing. I'm pretty sure it didn't involve vomiting on your current doctor's shoes, but hey, if you could find a way to do that, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt. I'd do a search of "obtaining anti-emetics" or something like that.

NP. If I come across it, I'll post the link.

Here's some smaller discussion. Not the one, yet, I'm remembering.

I think I figured out a way to get an antiemetic

Failed to get prescription antiemetic from Doc

In desperate need of a antiemetic source

Look on Google for a pet doc that will prescribe it for you. There are sites, they're just not on the 1st or 2nd page
