  • Hello Guest,

We will not be following or complying with the Online Safety Bill that was recently signed into law in the UK. This bill will not affect the operations of the site, nor do we have a presence in the UK to receive notice or fines that the UK Government may impose.

We would highly recommend that all users from the UK get some sort of VPN, and you should petition your lawmakers to let them know how you feel about this piece of draconian legislation.

Remove potential triggers. If you have easy links (bookmarks, speed dial, apps etc) to porn, remove those. When you see them, you will be more likely to click and access porn.

Or just rub too many out to get tired of it.

If you're not bored you won't go back to masturbating to kill time. Try a hobby, exercise, or just a new MMORPG to sink time in.

recently i have been addicted to masturbating.
I never had that problem, but I remember watching this thing on youtube about a person who had it so bad, it was even hard for them be out with friends without wanting to find the nearest restroom for relief. They went to therapy and apparently it helped quite a bit.

it's okay to do it sometimes, but if you find it's a problem, I recommend using the pent up energy to do something which will help you feel intense emotions in a different way, like exercise, gaming etc. It could help redirect the energy towards something else

Never had this problem, or at least have never called it a problem and tried to stop. I found that I would masturbate a lot if I could get into bed (with the intention to sleep, but of course I don't right away). If I made my bed, I wouldn't want to get back into it and ruin it.

Also idk if your addiction i porn-related, but I don't watch porn after looking into the ethics of making it. And also because much of it degrades women.

It's not easy, but congratulations you have atleast taken the first step to recovery i.e., acknowledging it and looking at it as a problem.
Like comments above, remove all access to porn or anything that triggers the thought in you, could be anything.... Social media posts, news, magazines, ads on tv, movies, etc if anything you find triggering, stay away from it consciously.
While sleeping, always try and sleep on your back or your side as much as possible, sleeping on your belly will give you an erection and stimulate you.
Like comments above, focus your energy into something you like to do physically so that you will tire yourself and have a shower and sleep well.
All said, don't be disappointed if you slip back, it is not an overnight miracle, it is a journey.
We're all here to help you and support you, am sure you can come out successful.

Depression haha that'll kill it real fucking quick. In all seriousness I'd suggest just staying off the internet. And distancing yourself from hot people lol

I agree that you should remove potential triggers. You could get software that blocks porn sites.

Also, have you checked out r/nofap on reddit? It seems like a really supportive community and I'm sure they have great advice on how to stop.

The depression helped?
I think anhedonia can aid against many addictions.
