• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

All I know is the eerie void between your ears and behind your eyes, and within the interstices between everything, this eerie buzzing void of not knowing, of hunger for sense with which it creates its reality for the sake of having something to look to, to "know", it creates its reality through which it retroactively explains itself

Reminds me of the line in the poem by Walt Whitman: 'I am large, I contain multitudes'.

I tend to view it more that we are simply one species among many but that we evolved to be 'gifted' or 'cursed' with the ability to recognise we are alive in a material reality that we spend our lives trying to survive in and figure out. Or, get away from- in many of our cases.

I tend to believe what's in my mind is a unique interpretation of the physical world around me. Not so much that my brain creates physical reality but then- maybe you're right. Imagine if we are all the only ones alive in a whole world simulation? I tend to think similar descriptions of pain, emotion, everything we experience tends to point to us all being alive in the same way though.

I suppose I see it more that we were (perhaps) foolishly dumped here by our parents and now we are desperately trying to figure out why. Whether the pain and effort we've put in will have some great reward or compensation at the end.
