  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm growing more and more hesitant as time passes, how do I know if I truly want this?

Try and evaluate your situation as objectively as possible. Detached. Do you enjoy living at times? When? When you feel like wanting to die, what goes through your mind? What elements are reocurring? Can an average person fix those? Is there ways you could alleviate them for a while? What would you dislike missing? ...
It's a lot of questioning. Some days you won't be able to do it, the pain overrides and you just gotta push through for a while. It's not easy, far from it, but remaining in that indecision is asphyxiating. I know that and I'm sorry you are going through it. Try to reflect about it in small bits, whenever you feel able to. Don't push it either. Also talking to people here may help clear out hings for you. Take care <3

Honestly, that is a question only you can answer. It doesn't matter what anyone says, it comes down to you, and whether you deem suicide necessary to end your suffering, or try recovery and hope to move forward with life.

Either way you choose, I wish you the best. 🤗

The deep reflection is a must to do, that's what I can say, but don't go too hard with reflecting either, rather ttake it nice and slow, thinking about it, being objective and open minded it really is tthe way.
I personally think that when you are thinking like not ending it at all, and you are in state of clear thinking, and then you have doubts, then ending it is not for you.

Its an impulse decision tbh, u never really know when you will end it until u have a gun in your hand or whatever u wanna end it with, most ppl cant handle thinking that its just a "at the moment" feeling it just so happens

When you truly want to die you'd be less hesitant

not necessarily without any hesitation but you'd be more sure about it

For me it's the down time where I feel as if I just disconnect from whatever I'm doing.

I miss my kids,
And I have things good...
But without them it doesn't matter how much my GF or even other women want me.
Nothing interests me, and there's just this gnawing hole that aches at the worst possible time and suddenly I'm not okay.

For me I think it's easier to know because I'm pretty fearless, I've done everything to try to fill the void and it doesn't work for me. But if there's anything you want to do (make an album or make a comic/etc) I suggest you try it EVEN if it causes anxiety or seems impossible so at least then you'll know whether or not it's a self image issue or an actual desire to disconnect from reality permanently.
