Hood for hanging

[Hanger]

Do you think it´s a good idea to wear a hood over your head, when you hang yourself? (I imagine a hood that a condemned criminal had to wear for hanging at executions). I think it would be good cause the corpse looks more peaceful. I think the person that finds my corpse would not be shocked as much as if he/she has to see my hanged face with outcoming tongue and so on

Definitely a very good idea I don't want people who found me to get life long nightmare I would certainly use one in my hanging but execution hood are not easily available so I'm thinking of wearing a balaclava reversed( like the front part one on back and no hole side on front of face) or mybe a bandana

Any better suggestions ?

Does lining your neck with fabric serve any purpose? I remember I read about it somewhere. Would it be better to distribute the pressure from rope, or is it better for it to cut into flesh a bit?
