I would find it extremely difficult to cope with homelessness. Whether it would drive me to suicide or not I'm unaware.

Nice avatar, by the way. I'm a fan of Dali's too.

My mood changes. In summer, I think "yea I can survive being homeless", but when I feel the harsh coldness of the winter, I think it's better to be dead.

Sometimes I think I can survive living in a car. But it would be "surviving". I really want to live, but it seems there is no chance.

I will wait till my parents are dead. This gives me around 15 years to live...

I've been "outside" (read homeless, Or domicile challenged for 13 years.) It can happen in the blink of an eye and in my case my landlady decided she didn't like me anymore and just threw me out. Since I was a nice person I trusted her - I didn't have a contract to back it up. Ironically, she's a police officer's mother.

But, anyway my point is that once you're outside it's almost impossible to get back. No one wants to trust you, everyone assumes you had some huge problem or addiction or massive fuck up and you're outside because you did something hugely wrong.

Q. what? You don't drink alcohol or do drugs? You don't even smoke cigarettes? You hold a Masters degree, and an IQ of 187?! You e tried all your life to do the right thing & don't even kill spiders?

A. Sorry lady, not our problem.

The fact that it can happen so blindingly fast Is something most people don't think of. Our society has very little help. I'm in the USA, btw. And it's only going to get worse. So yes, I'm going to CTB. Why not?

If I was on the verge of being homeless I'd kill myself beforehand. I've seen many homeless people and how they live. Thanks, but no thanks.

Are you sure that you wont find an apartment with Hartz4? I think this is not impossible. Moreover you can sell the house buy a smaller apartment and then live in this apartment.

Everybody wants to move into cities now, it's hard for me as an unemployed to find an apartment with Hartz4. My sister is working and she has troubles finding an apartment just because she looks foreign - think how much trouble I will get. I could buy an apartment but I am not sure if I get welfare in this case. It's a bit tricky (bureaucracy). Before I end my life, I will make sure that I take all the chances not to get homeless.
