I've been "outside" (read homeless, Or domicile challenged for 13 years.) It can happen in the blink of an eye and in my case my landlady decided she didn't like me anymore and just threw me out. Since I was a nice person I trusted her - I didn't have a contract to back it up. Ironically, she's a police officer's mother.
But, anyway my point is that once you're outside it's almost impossible to get back. No one wants to trust you, everyone assumes you had some huge problem or addiction or massive fuck up and you're outside because you did something hugely wrong.
Q. what? You don't drink alcohol or do drugs? You don't even smoke cigarettes? You hold a Masters degree, and an IQ of 187?! You e tried all your life to do the right thing & don't even kill spiders?
A. Sorry lady, not our problem.
The fact that it can happen so blindingly fast Is something most people don't think of. Our society has very little help. I'm in the USA, btw. And it's only going to get worse. So yes, I'm going to CTB. Why not?
