I came across a thread talking about "bodies of water that are hard to search", and a few stupid thoughts popped in (I'm obviously not going to add them to that thread, dw):

Thought 1: the words "I am a body of water"
Thought 2: recalling an out of context scripture quote about soldiers getting water (and vinegar) from a sword

More concerning was a thought regarding the human body being water, when combined with thought 2... but I skipped over that thought before it could become a full sentence and risk actual harm.

I wonder how often or rare thoughts like the above occur.

Thinking is the spark of all human existence and whether what you wrote is rare, I am not in a position to be able to tell, however , ALL thinking, thoughts etc. makes the world go around.

You are beautiful!

Thanks... I also kinda wonder how many thoughts were held back by the members who read this... and how many thoughts won't be posted by the guests who either read, or will read this

Yeah, I have to hold back a lot, otherwise I'd make too many enemies.

Looks oddly dark, like coca cola. What did you mix into it?

What might a dumb AI reply to posts:

"will someone find me hanging" -> "Task manager can be used to find hung processes"
"I'm talking about hanging myself, not hanging a process" -> "[Pro-life babble]"

Not much stupid thoughts to hold back, once I went easier on the replying, those thoughts (when on here) reduced.
However, in some of my replies, one will find off-topic sentences, typically within spoilers.

PS: Idk how smart/dumb this is... but I submit my dream log on a 3 hour delayed timer. That way, I can go to my laptop/desktop, replace my common nickname with my nickname here, and then wind the timer forward and post. In the event I'm unable to edit (eg incapacitation), the post will have a different nickname and can be used like a canary. Not a smart canary coz there is only 3 out of 100+ hours for something to go wrong, and 97+ hours are exposed.

A smarter canary would be my postcount indicator. If it hasn't gone up in 3+ days, that should trip something... but there's a chance I might legitimately not post for 3+ days and be alive (eg 1 week trip somewhere with limited internet... that can be planned for... but a false arrest can't be planned for, unless I am in a bunker with CCTV, and have enough seconds to collapse it by quickly breaking the support beams. That way, I can keep SaSu secure, there is 1 less person they can interrogate and put SaSu at risk.)

Oh yes, there is some extra, interesting reading if y'all are interested:

Do you consider your "stupid thoughts" to be intrusive?

Like you have your usual routine thoughts, and these "stupid thoughts" just jab in, in an intrusive manner?

sometimes they can be intrusive vs just daydreams, other times, random daydreams.

I think stupid/ silly thoughts can be kind of charming/ amusing. I'll often express them if they made me smile. I don't really care about being perceived as silly in some regards.

Sometimes though, certain things will trigger me to want to react in an annoyed way. It's those times I try to be more careful with now. Because it's rarely worth it. It just upsets someone. I suppose it's those I would consider more to be a stupid response. Because they carelessly hurt.

Different if it's something we feel strongly about or probably needs to be confronted/ questioned. But yeah. Sometimes I'm keen to respond in a more challenging way but then- we rarely know all the facts.

I'm not good with criticism though. Either personally or, more in general. So, even derogatory comments about the forum I tend to take weirdly personally! But then- I know I need to bare in mind, I don't know their experience so, I should just keep quiet. My Grandma used to say: 'If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.' I think it helps me to remind myself of that now and then!

Indeed, silly ideas are fun to discuss with others, insert into stories, and/or with ChatGPT.
