I am considering my immediate availible options and find it hard to miss that i have a car availible to me. Were i to collide with a solid concrete wall at about 160mph surely it would be instantaneous. I would most likely do this at night to avoid affecting others. This seems almost too perfect to me as it could pass as an accident.
If anyone has any relevant information from similar discussions on the forum i would appreciate feedback, especially on how successful this method would be.

I'll keep my eye on this thread.
I myself am very interested in what others have to say.. i've been considering this method for a while now, but didn't have enough evidence/sense of experience to base the effectiveness off of.
My first concern would be the safety of others on the road, in which roads would you be allowed to go 160 MPH without creating any sort of ruckus? Dependent on the area? Certainly.
Unfortunately here we don't have too many isolated roads. So that's a bummer.

Any motorway at night will do i drive fast often at night quite often and chances of running into police are slim. There's usually perpendicular concrete walls at overpasses. My only concern is that by some miracle id survive, however the more i think about it Im quite sure at that speed physics just wins.

I think it's also worth noting that strangely when Im driving at that speed I feel very little fear or reaction from my body telling me to stop, i suspect not alot of willpower is needed to go through with this.

This.
It's still very unreliable I think, depends a lot on the car you have, safety system, not to mention how your body instinctively responds to the impact.

I've also considered this option. I won't lie, it's a little scary, but I don't really have many other methods to choose from. It sounds like it could be instantaneous, like a gunshot to the head and you'd be dead before you could even really feel or process anything which is the way I want it to go.

If you look up cases of head on collisions at speeds similar to this you'll see the cars are near completely destroyed, and drivers rarely survive. I believe at this speed the deceleration would kill you even if you somehow avoided a direct impact, furthermore car safety isn't designed for these kinds of speeds, maybe I'm optimistic but i hope it will be over before the air bag even has a chance to go off.

If you do survive, you'll most likely end up with a plethora of different traumatic injuries that are typically result from MVA's, Pneumothorax, life threatening hemorrhages, skull fractures, etcetera. All, which are highly unpleasant and not ideal.
And even then very tedious to endure, these accidents denote a lot of pain and suffering even with proper medical intervention.
I'm only brushing the surface as I only covered the medical side of things, (or possible risks), but actually going through with the plan stands other risks that aren't inherently medical.

I feel similarly. Sometimes on the road i'll swerve, or carelessly wander out of the lane when nobody is around, to 'test the waters' or see how quick my reaction time will be. Seemingly enough i'm not very terrified of causing an accident myself contrary to other methods. It's weird.

Really unlikely. Drive to a jumping place if you're serious. Plenty of those.

it should be very scary, because while it is easy to look at potential spots on the side of the road like trees and the like with excitement, not only do you have to aim perfectly for the situation - in accidents, angles are everything when it comes to whether the result is fatal or not. sometimes 1 degree can be the difference. then you also have to be able to keep your speed up, and not brake or flinch at the last second, you also cannot look away just before impact, because that will invariably lead to turning the steering wheel and not hitting the target as planned. and that is totally dependent on whether the trajectory you chose is a smooth path, and does not have any form of rocks, ditches or tree roots to deflect the front wheels towards a different direction

it sounds so very easy, but there are so many variables that could make it much worse for someone
