The connections you show are quick connects, not barbs. I'm not sure what you're trying to do. I guess you want to extend the hose from the hood to the flowmeter? What is the fitting on the flowmeter where a hose is to be attached? Links to all of the apparatus you have might be helpful. Adapting those AC hoses to some kind of quick connect fitting might be difficult. It may involve using 2 different adapters if it even can be done.

I understand your reluctance to want to cut the fitting off the hose coming from the hood, but it is just so much easier to do that, get an appropriately sized barb and another length of hose, and then just join them together that way.

I'm scared of leaks plus I know that I'll be so nervous at that day so mistakes can occur more

Just an fyi, you're more likely to get leaks using quick-connect fittings rather than just sliding a couple hose ends on a barb and securing them with a clamp.

Really I didn't think about it like that. If that the case, can you please help me with what the names of the barbs and others things I'll need to Connect and expand the hose?

If use an adapter (also a rectus) adapter on the regulator output, then there will be a small leak. With one big leak (gas bottle-regulator connection and small leak (regulator-adapter hose connection), I still reached below recommended limit of 2% oxygen after about 6 minutes.

Small leaks (after the regulator output) can be fixed with a PTFE tape or any tape that is certified for gas. It's mentioned in the product description.

Sure that's not a problem. But, need to know what the inside dimension (ID) of the hose is. Then you'll have to get another length of hose of the same inside diameter. The barb size you will need will be catergorized according to whatever the inside dimension of the hose is.

For example, if the ID of the hose is 1/4 inch (I'm American), the barb you would need would be a 1/4 inch barb. Same goes for metric sizes. Then a couple hose clamps are secured over each side.
