I have a university degree in management. I am 30 years old and I found that office work is not for me. The thing that will make me happy is helping people. I am in Canada looking for a specialty that I can accomplish in two or three years (it will be a stable job and for the future without a career ladder). Does anyone have any suggestions other than becoming a Nurse (I do not want to be an old person among a group of young people)

my ex-wife became a nurse in her 30's, It was the best thing she ever did for herself. I can not speak to whether you would truly have difficulties in classes with younger people if that is how I am understanding your comment.

Would working in the nonprofit sector be an option? An NGO, social services, an overseas aid agency? They all have projects involving different beneficiary communities and often they involve working outside of an office.
Check their job ads to see what skills they need, and where they work.
Good hunting!
