Hi everyone. I would like to ask people who submitted a request for VAD in Europe or preparing for it. I undestand that only options are Swiss clinics, unless someone has Belgium or Netherlands' citizenship (which I do not have). The main issue I face is that I am still relatively young (early 30s) and do not have my family's support. I have a diagnosis of incurable mental ilness and I really do suffer real hell for already almost 5 years, which I have a medical records for being in psychiatric hospital many times. What would you suggest me to do in order to somehow get VAD permission somewhere in the world ASAP? I have some savings like maybe $200k and really eager to do everything to get to VAD. I am trying to convince myself that worst case I can go for SN myself but I am really a coward tbh and starting to have second thoughts if I will be able to do it on my own.. It is unbearable anymore but at the same time I saw people in psych ward after suicidal attempts and thosre seem to be suffering EVEN more. Appreciate any thoughts and ideas. Thank you all!
