decapitation by train is instant however, there's a possibility of them stopping. if i don't decide to jump i'm going out in this fashion. i decided the best method would be to first place a decoy ( like a scarecrow or sign to distract the eyes of the conductor) and place it a few feet behind me. next take many sedatives to help try and sleep as well drinking to the point of blacking out. wants in my altered state i'll place a blue tarp over my body and a pile of dirt to hide/disguise my head. i'll be hidden w/ a added decoy/distraction.... you could almost try to get some shut eye and be comfortable actully almost 'relaxed' i feel ... i think this should be a full proof idea however i'm not exactly sure if trains take any sort of precautions or if this may just be utterly stupid.... willing to give it a shot tho

With high speed trains there's no way to stop the train in time.

Still dont know why people would want to possibly inflict their choice of suicide on someone who did nothing to them judt going about their daily job

That's true. But I can understand people doing that. It's a quick death with almost zero chance of surviving.

A train going 40 mph takes 2-3 miles to come to a complete stop.

I have read that you will feel the train coming through strong vibrations on the track, that might wake you up. I feel drawn to the train as well, at night I can hear it going by and I dont want to go that way, but I get the urge to do down there at night.

If you're desperate you'll do anything, speaks more of this fucked up society than it does for the individual.

Insensitively, because of my mindset as CTB nears, I am so proud that on the same day I was starting a new job and quit it on the way home the trains were delayed mine included then cancelled. Later on learned it was a suicide. Even more learned later it was someone I had known.

I was so glad he'd succeeded, minus a few days "alive" in hospital, and that he'd inconvenienced random strangers along the way.

It's the way society is now, I just don't give a flying F. Who cares if the driver was traumatised (you signed up for that job), who cares if the passengers had to take replacement buses or taxis (you'll get home soon enough you selfish workers).

It's all about me, me, me these days and that's most people's mindset.

It's like christmas sales every day.

Yeah i get you but you dont know what those peoples lives are like, just because they are at work doesnt mean they have perfect lives. I guess i just dont want my death to be overshadowed by people saying i did it in a selfish way, i want them to understand whats led me to this point and that it really was my only option and i made the choice rationally and with full capacity.

I dont think the diver takes the job or passangers go about their day thinking oh well if someone kills themselves on the tracks its ok. I just wouldnt want the driver then possibly not being able to live with themselves after but hey thats me thinking about possible cause and effect.

The only way we are going to chanhe the laws on suicide is by approaching it openly with clarity, someone saying oh well fuck the train driver and passengers im being selfish if far from helping our cause. At the moment suicide = selfish in many peoples eyes and acts like this just promote that

I fear all it does it promote suicide as being selfish. You dont get much of the why they did it just trains delayed because someone with mental health problems killed themselves and if your suicidal call this number.

It's a very gruesome way to go. It's how my second cousin CTB and we couldn't even read his autopsy report. He was literally torn to shreds. Also, when he died some commuters were pissed off at the "inconvenience". They were tweeting how annoyed they were at the train being delayed.

I've thought about the train method myself so I can see both sides of this for sure.
As for the tarp idea and the distraction, idk where you are but here I'm sure people would find that very suspicious. And the trains always stops if there's any obstruction on the tracks. I think they'd stop if they saw tarp. All it takes is for a train on the other track to see the tarp and call it in for that train on your track not to turn up
