I have no desire of causing harm to anyone. Why would I rob or steal things from others?

I only would harm somebody who I know and who is bad person (everyone I know). But I don't find it worthy.

Really? What would be some other examples?
I would describe it in general as doing something you would never do and possibly instantly getting authorities after you, that's some good adrenaline boost. I also took gas (yes that also I feel very embarrased for it) before I went for the bottle so they had my car details. Taken this all into account I'm still here today so I wouldn't try do something that can't be fixed later....

Doing something "crazy" or improbable - "going out with a bang", is a common idea. But probably more so among people who are not suicidal themselves.

I recently saw a talk given by a man who has suffered from depression, and he made a point that stuck with me: "The opposite of depression is not happiness, the opposite of depression is vitality."

The reason why very few people who are suicidal don't leverage their suicidality into pulling a heist, going to fight ISIS, assassinating a hated political figure, etc. is that all of those acts are acts of vitality. The vast majority of suicidal people lack vitality - the lack of the feeling of vitality tends to be exactly why they are suicidal.

Two examples of "going out with a bang" come to mind - the recently discussed "decapitation by car and rope" and the guy who made a "killdozer" and went on a rampage against his enemies. Both of these suicides were acts of desperation and spite. They had a focus that most suicidal people don't have. Most suicidal people don't have a specific enemy that they are willing to die to spite. Both of these guys did.

But depressives can have manic moments

I'd need a foolproof suicide plan so as to prevent myself from ending up in prison and unfortunately I live in a country with no easy access (that's an understatement) to firearms or deadly poisons.

If you lived in the USA what would your scheme be?

I'd argue that you can't compare different feelings as true or wrong. It's more complex than "left or right".

You'd have to get behind the counter for that stuff.

If I had a toy gun, that's what I'd do personally. Wouldn't harm anyone (physically) but just scare them into giving me the drugs.

Well, bipolar people can, yes. But so? When someone is manic, they are not currently depressed.

Actually they can be, it's called a 'mixed episode'. It's where the agitation, stimulation, racing thoughts, insomnia, irritability, maybe delusions, of mania combine with the dread, dysphoria, guilt, hopelessness of depression. I think it's the bipolar state most likely to lead to a suicide attempt.

Ah, right. That makes sense. But yes - not "pure" depression. "Pure" depression can and does obviously result in suicides, but not of the spectacular variety.

Brings to mind the fact of increased suicide risk when someone starts on antidepressants. Simply put, before the pills, they're too depressed to have the gumption to kill themselves, and once the pills take effect they have the get-up-and-go to do it.

Holy shit fuck yeah. I've seriously considered trying to rob some capitalist garbage, but I don't really have the resources to do so.

The main thing that I thought of, personally, was just to break into a gun store to steal a shotgun to shoot myself with.

Although I have no interest in hurting or killing people, one thought that did also cross my mind was committing some kind of crime to get the cops after me, then run at them with a knife or something and let them gun me down. That idea was pretty stupid though.

No. My goal is to ultimately end my own suffering and to alleviate the few people in my life of my issues.

Why would I intentionally go out and do something that could harm and cause suffering to a bunch of people I've never even met?

Sometimes, but then I just think about the way people will remember me. I guess I really don't want to be hated to that extent.
