I have been. its like falling asleep. i also passed out during hanging attempt last year. much better. the euphoria from oxygen deprivation cant be beat. knowing i wont be back ever again makes it so hard though now.
As others have said yes and wow best sleep ever. How inviting is death if you were to just slip away the same way you would if you were being out to sleep. I guess that's why methods such as N and SN have been so appealing to me. A peaceful death is all I long for
I have been put under. One minute you're there, then the next minute you're waking up hours later, like someone hit the stop button on your consciousness. I find it comforting to know that stories from people who have died and been brought back for the most part align with the same sensation. It's comforting to know that death is quicker and easier than falling asleep, given the circumstances.
Yes, a couple of times.
one time the nurses asked me to count with them backwards from 10 and i couldn't understand what they were saying... then i woke up. Nothing was in between-yet i'd had the surgery. It was as though no time had passed... it took me a long time of thinking about what they had said to me before i passed out to realize they had been counting backwards in french.... (yes, i am bilingual and i should have understood). My brain just wasn't "braining" at the time i guess!
Yeah, only a couple weeks ago actually. One moment they were pushing the anaesthetic and the next I was waking up in recovery. Literally just like skipping time, it was pretty nice. If dying is like that, I'm looking forward to it imo.
