  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

It has for me.

I constantly research about it, post about it (here,) fantasise about it, plan it, talk about it and most of all … ATTEMPT it.

I have EUPD/BPD, and apparently us lot are very suicidal.

I've lost friends because of this, have had family members turn their backs on me, and have even had the mental health "service" withdraw from me.

How about you? Have you had a similar experience to me?

I'd be interested to know if I'm not alone on this, or if I really am "too much."

I don't even have to go into the suicidal talk to get people to avoid me. Just venting out my issues is enough for people to start running for the hills. Mental health systems always say, "Look for support in your friends...", they forgot that all my friends ran away when shit got bad.

Definitely. Just mentioning suicide will scare most people.

People are extremely fragile and they seek positive energy like moths to a flame.

My obsession with suicide hasnt fully pushed everyone away but I can tell its starting to. All I ever do anymore is watch suicide related videos, watch suicides on gore sites, constantly bring up suicide when talking with close friends, fantasize about acting on suicidal thoughts, romanticisizing suicide, constantly finding myself on here etc. Never really expected anyone else to be doing the same type of things which sounds silly now that I think about it but I guess that just comes from not having anyone to talk to about this, mainly because of the stigma surrounding suicide.

How freaky, I just left the following comment on another thread:

"Such a place already exists.

It's called the afterlife.

It's going to be beautiful, and it's waiting for us all.

See you on the other side … "

Yes. People can't cope and then I watched on helplessly as my 'support network' shrink.

And I wasn't even sharing about active suicide plans, only my struggle to grieve and my all-too-overwhelming emotions.

Yes! it has. I've been struggling a lot lately with my friendships because they deem me.. "way too depressing". And I must say I agree with them; talking to me is kind of a drag. I can't have normal conversations anymore, simply cuz I turn it into something depressing. Is it my fault? I don't know.

I do not tell people about wanting to ctb, or ever talk about it. There is no point in doing that, as people who have not been suicidal will never be able to comprehend what it is like. There is no right to die (at least where I live) and there is stigma and judgement towards those who are suicidal. Many people do not want to accept the fact that life can get that bad that someone would want to take their own life, so they distance from those that are suicidal. I do feel an overall disconnection to others as I spend so much time thinking about dying while they are focused on living. They all have long term goals that they want to achieve while all I want is to not exist.
