I was good until lockdown and covid came. The title says it all honestly.
Have you been affected by covid? In case yes, how? How are you right now?

Yes 100%
Before I felt bad but not all the time, now with all the build up and how we are technically still in lockdown is making me go a bit stir-crazy. I hate Covid and its effects are some of the main reasons I want to die right now.

I went into lockdown on anti depressants now I'm on anti psychotics
I went into lockdown in a relationship now I'm single
I went into lockdown with a family home, now I live alone in my 'prison' of a apartment.

:(

Yes 200% A simple surgery that would alleviate my pain has been pushed back for 49 weeks. All my friends are distancing themselves from me because "all I do is complain about my pain." Yeah. COVID and 2020 are by far the worst thing that happened to me in 32 years ><

Covid-19 is part of the reason I want to die tbh. No one has any idea how long these lockdowns will last, and they could be on and off for years... maybe even decades if reinfection is a thing.

It hasn't been the main factor but its contributed. Being stuck in an abusive household 24 hours a day doesnt do me or my mental health any favours. The thought of going into another lockdown in the UK just terrifies me.

It hasn't affected my life much. But now one of my parents exclusively works from home and it makes me feel worse, more on edge...
All my friends are distancing themselves from me because "all I do is complain about my pain."
That's kinda fucked imo. You have the right to "complain" about your worsening condition. And if they think it's so annoying, have they tried to help you with the issue?

I hope you make it out of the abusive situation.

No-one deserves that.

I think we'll be done by 2022, to be honest...otherwise I'm moving to Sweden.

Yes. I've been suffering for quite some time but the last 4 months have been worse than usual.
I'm worried about my grandma getting Covid and passing away, and I'm more worried about the future than before.

before lockdown, i was content with life. i was still planning my suicide, but i was more passively suicidal than anything. i was just tying loose ends and such.

lockdown made me remember the things i'd successfully repressed. not to mention everything that's happened this year has ruined whatever hope i had left in humans. lockdown made me realize the only true way out is death.

Yes, as much as I love my tiny humans they are special needs. With school closed I don't get a break, and have been home with them 24/7 for 6 months. I just get no breaks from the stressors of the environment and their dad.

I wasn't suicidal before lockdown and it's only the last couple of months I've started wanting to ctb.

It's really because I have no income apart from a little money from govt, I think covid is here to stay forever and over the next few months there will be tens of thousands losing their jobs, making it impossible for most to find work since the economy is being smashed up.

I also believe they are doing that deliberately, for "the great reset" - using this as the mechanism to achieve the reset, which will usher in a new system of government control and loss of freedoms, plus whatever other bad stuff comes with it.

Nothing else makes sense - the virus is not going away, we can't keep locked down forever, and they know the economy and peoples lives are about to be wrecked, so why do it?

I do believe they'll extend the furlough and will announce that probably early next week.

Why do you think the virus isn't going away? I mean, a vaccine is on its way.

Not for me since I have a little agoraphobia but I was suicidal before lockdown. I read some news about people who couldn't handle the lockdown and ctbed because of that.

Because a vaccine might not be possible, and even if it is the virus will mutate like the flu does. So covid will not go away, it's here forever now.

They already said the vaccine will cover the mutations
Also the Spanish flu went away on its own, and if it does humanity will eventually build herd immunity
Anyway guys I'm so sorry for the economic problems you've been enduring. I was born wealthy - luckily due to my parents working really hard in the 80s, and I'n very stable financially speaking. If I could I'd help

Not really, I think I said before that it actually gave me a chance to relax and no longer have to be enraged by commuting or traffic. I also didn't have to wake up as early anymore so I got way more sleep too. Not seeing my friends has been kind of a bummer though.

No. I have been isolated almost all of my life so lockdown has not changed anything. However: throughout lockdown no caring messages were received and no one has been in contact. This only confirmed that others do not care.
