Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I have been debating CTB for almost 5 years and have yet to build the courage or follow through logistically with any plan. I have heard that the reason CTB can be a side effect of starting SSRI's is because it gives people the energy to enact their plans. I'll be honest, the main reason I want to go is because I'm chronically lazy and can barely bring myself to do things I enjoy doing. Which ends with me procrastinating going to a gun range and purchasing a handgun which has been my method of choice for a while. I'm tired of putting this off but it's gotten to the point where I do not enjoy rotting all day. Is it worth the headache of trying to get a prescription? I've never spoken to a psychiatrist.

the only reason SSRI's made me want to kill myself more was because it made me extra miserable and depressed (for the first 2 weeks or so). I haven't heard about the energy hypothesis before

Did you have to get a referral from a doctor or something for them? How did you go about getting the prescription?

i'm in brazil, if you have money you don't need to go to the public health system, so i just went to the psychatrist. I was still trying to treat my depression, i just said my symptons and he precribed some things like buproprion, lamotrigine and later antipsychotics and other things like Lyberdia (stimulant).
