Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Ok, it definitely does seem like a scam because they're overtly advertising it for suicide too. But on the other hand I sometimes feel like people here don't search enough and give up prematurely (understandable, suicidality usually involves depression and lack of motivation)
