has anyone noticed the strange disappearance Sweet Acidophilus

Do you guys still have it at your local grocery stores ?

If you never heard of it or tried it what's your favourite kind of milk (this can also include nut based milks and milk alternatives)?

I don't even have choco milk at my markets , never heard of that variant you mentioned:( Choco milk is my favourite but I can never get it where I live, I can get frappe BS, I don't want frappe. I like oat milk.

what about an iced mocha (decaf) as an alternative or some powdered hot chocolate mix mixed with reuglar milk with a few ice cubes ?

I have yet to find a good tasting oat milk sadly (I didn't like it because of the ?cargeenan/sea weed? as the thickening agent which made the texture weird so I hope to try one that doesn't have it one day) but I am willing to try again

do you like it flavoured or sweetened or just regular ?

I never tasted the sea weed in my oat milk, I think the ones in my country have mostly agar agar or gellan gum. I use the regulard oat milk but I sometimes drink it with cocoa. Sometimes I used to soak oats into hot (normal) milk with a tea spoon of honey for 30-35 minutes put the oats in another bowl to eat with jam and drank the rest of the milk, I like that milk the best but it costs a lot to make

decaffeinated version of this with ice

simple syrup ( basically just sugar and water)
also you can just use melted chocolate or chocolate sauce instead

other things to note are that you can use either espresso or instant coffee or maybe just a regular coffee but decaffeinated

that sounds like a much better alternative for the thickener I will be on the look out for that in the ingredient list next time I get some oat milk then !

also the milk with oats and honey combo sounds good I've always wanted to try lait au miel

Strawberry or Rose petals*. But I drain the oats through a strain, ye they do retain a bit of milk but it's not soup or cereal.

I have never heard of this kind of milk, but I'm also severely lactose intolerant so I drink soy milk. I prefer unsweet, but there are flavored variants (namely chocolate and vanilla) that are pretty tasty. I drank Silk brand for a while but there was a decent span of time where every time I bought a new carton, even unexpired it smelled off. I'm not the only one who experienced this too, so it seemed to be an issue with Silk's quality control. I have since switched to my local grocer's store brand, and it's been reliable.

I stopped drinking it a few years ago now, so I'm not shocked it only got worse since. The best way I could describe the smell was as if it was slightly fermented. It never got me sick, but I hated it going down, and the aftertaste was horrid. Only bought 3 cartons before I cut off the brand entirely. shame because I liked their chocolate flavor.

Pretty much anything you'd use regular milk for, although for certain things like baking or mac and cheese, you'll notice a change in consistency and flavor. This can be adjusted for with practice, and I've yet to find any recipes that can't have milk replaced.

My go-to combos are definitely cereal (trix, coco puffs, fruity/cocoa pebbles, rice/cocoa krispies, froot loops. enjoying them while I still can lol), and PB&J. I use exclusively Dave's Killer Bread (21 seed variant), and natural Jif and Smucker's (Strawberry, Raspberry, Blackberry). To the chagrin of all my friends, I also like to put a slice of cheese in my PB&J because it's not enough to trigger my intolerance, and I strangely love the taste.

I've had the regular Lactaid milk before, and it seemed to work fine for me, but I find milk in general to just be too sweet (12 grams of sugar per serving on average) so I still prefer soy. Never tried the pills though, so can't speak for that.

It's not fat that makes people fat, it's too many calories in general. Fat got demonized back in the day in a similar way carbs today is. Although, carbs are much easier to get fat with because our bodies love them. If you're afraid of the calories though, milk alternatives are great for that.
