Was reading on @fixthe26 a report that seems suspiciously anecdotal that makes it sound like sales reps here continuously try to seek out people to purchase chemicals related to Self harm or suicide

The quote on @fixthe26 was (paraphrased) "within a few days of of.logging in I had multiple people PM me trying to sell me 'chemical X''

Unscientific poll:. Has anyone ever privately reached out to you or have you seen any posts brokering the sale of items used to inflict self harm or suicide?

I suspect this was an anecdote written by someone who realized there wasn't much useful news to report other than reposting the NY times article with it's terrible conclusion that millions of people log into this forum.

Alright so, one member did PM me out of nowhere a while back, notifying me of a legit source for SN from Canada. He definitely wasn't trying to sell me anything though. I'm under the impression that he came across the source himself, and was just trying to be helpful after hearing about others getting ripped off.
