Was reading on @fixthe26 a report that seems suspiciously anecdotal that makes it sound like sales reps here continuously try to seek out people to purchase chemicals related to Self harm or suicide

The quote on @fixthe26 was (paraphrased) "within a few days of of.logging in I had multiple people PM me trying to sell me 'chemical X''

Unscientific poll:. Has anyone ever privately reached out to you or have you seen any posts brokering the sale of items used to inflict self harm or suicide?

I suspect this was an anecdote written by someone who realized there wasn't much useful news to report other than reposting the NY times article with it's terrible conclusion that millions of people log into this forum.

I've never had a PM from someone trying to sell me SN.
I have had people message me to ask me where I'd bought mine. This was back in December, and although I was new to this site, I'd already found some online and ordered it. Anyway because of recent events I didn't feel I could trust these people and refused to tell them where I'd found it.
