Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm in a slightly better position now to apply for a possession and acquisition license for firearms, but there are questions on there about whether I've had depression or suicidal thoughts in the past. I'm worried that answering yes will get my application instantly denied / prompt some sort of investigation. Does anyone know how this works?

They have no way of knowing what thoughts you've had in the past, just lie.

I'm worried that they'll ask followup questions or do some kind of investigation, but maybe lying is just the better option. I'm honestly not sure

There's no reason for follow-up questions on that topic if you lie and say no.
